Katie Anne models a new design I made yesterday... a smocked white sundress. Obviously, it is too cold for it now, but I'm working on spring and summer stuff.
I'm planning on adding white ribbon tie straps to the top of the dress... I just didn't like the ribbon I bought once I started working with it yesterday, so I'm going to get some more later. I also made a tiny dress from leftover fabric for a doll, but she doesn't have a tall, thin doll. I think I can get one of those "Groovy Girls" from Target, and that will work.I'm working on a tiered sundress and bloomer set made from hot air balloon fabric now, and I'm so excited about it!
Oh my goodness, Katie, this is ABSOLUTELY adorable! I love it! I want one of my very own, and I have actually been contemplating making one in a very busy, bright pattern for myself for our big cruise coming up... Do you think your pattern could be modified easily for a grown-up girl?
