On Tuesday night, we had the first of Saunders's 30th Birthday Celebrations with his parents. We all went out to dinner at Henry's Louisiana Grill in downtown Acworth. Saunders has been wanting to eat at Henry's again for awhile, and his birthday was a great time to do it! It had been a long time since I'd been to Henry's, but I remembered very little about the food and a lot about the loudness!
I was really pleasantly surprised by the delicious food - Saunders, VJ, and I all had the "Louisiana Oh-La-La", and it was incredibly good. Henry's won the People's Platelist Contest - a big national contest sponsored by ABC's Nightline - recently, so the restaurant was celebrating with specials every day. Luckily, we just happened to show up on the night that every customer received free bread pudding... oh my gosh, that was totally delicious. Henry's was still very loud - but the atmosphere made it a lot of fun for all of us, especially Katie Anne - and all that chatter covers up any noise the kids make! Saunders loved his gift from his parents - a new gun - and had a fun time celebrating the Big 3-0! Both kids were very good (SJ only got cranky and tired at the very end of dinner), and we all had a great time.

Lots more parties and birthday fun to come!
