On July 23rd, Saunders threw me a totally rad birthday party for my BIG 30th Birthday! Why totally rad? Because it was an awesome 1980's theme to celebrate the decade in which I was born!
Saunders had a big dinner for me at Stonewall Manor in downtown Cartersville, complete with tons of food, a great DJ playing 80's music, and a big chocolate-iced cake from Agan's - my favorite! A bunch of my family and friends come to celebrate, and they all got decked out in 1980's style! The outfits were amazingly awful and hilarious...
Our good friend Tom is a DJ, so he (and his girlfriend Elizabeth) dj'ed the party for us. We had great 1980's music all night - and some fabulous karaoke, too! We played "80's and Katie's Trivia", which were questions all about the 1980's and all about me! The winners were my parents, Greg and Jillian, and Erin and Jason Jolly.
