Winter Festival

On Friday night, Katie Anne and SJ's school had their annual Winter Festival.  Katie Anne was super excited about going to the festival - she had been talking about it all week!  The school did a great job of organizing the festival, and they had a great turnout - that place was packed!  All the classrooms in the school were filled with different things: several different crafts and activities rooms, a visit with Santa and professional pictures room, a room with snacks and tables for sitting, and the big pre-K room had two bouncy houses inside for jumping!  The nursery was also open with SJ's regular teacher watching the babies so parents could take the bigger kids around to the activities.  We didn't leave SJ there, but I did think that was a good idea, especially for single parents.  We spent almost two hours there and had a great time!

On the "What We're Thankful For..." bulletin board, all the other kids put they were thankful for their homes or mommies or daddies or siblings or even special toys.  What is my kid thankful for?  Ham!
We are thankful for our kids' great teachers!
