I had to take a break from digital scrap-booking... a long break. I tried really hard to get Katie Anne's first year scrapbooked by her first birthday, so I was working every night for several weeks leading up to her birthday

to get it done. After that, I took a short break.

Well, when I tried to start back scrapping her birthday party, I was paralyzed by my own perfection- ism. I wanted the birthday pages to look so perfect since they were the culmination of the first year book (I know...
crazy). I couldn't pick a background, then I couldn't pick a font, then I couldn't pick decorative elements... I agonized over every decision until I just couldn't think about it any more.

Finally, a few weeks ago, I just bit the bullet and cranked the birthday party pages out. Then, the flood gates were opened, and I powered through her first birthday photo shoot pictures, which had also been a big mental block.

Since then, all I've wanted to do was scrap, but I just haven't had the time or I've been too tired in the evenings. Today, I was determined to get some pages done. I took the laptop to my parents' while we watched the Georgia game, and I got a few pages done there. Once I got KA to bed, I've done 8 more pages! I'm on a crazy roll! If you want to see my progress, here are some of the ones I did today... click to enlarge them.
