Easter Egg Hunt at the Country Club

Today we celebrated Easter with the Jones family at the Country Club.  As soon as we walked in the door, we saw the Easter Bunny.  We were worried about how Katie Anne would react to the Easter Bunny, but she ran right up to him and loved him!  

We had a delicious breakfast - I had a crazy craving for grapefruit, and luckily they had a big bowl.  Katie Anne preferred the cheese eggs.  Everyone enjoyed sitting around the table and chatting.

Then, we moved the party outside to wait on the egg hunt to begin.  We could see them hiding all kinds of eggs on the driving range - Katie Anne was so excited!

Finally, it was time for the hunt to begin!
Katie Anne waited with Daddy at the starting line...

and wanted to slip under the rope...

then she was finally given the all-clear to go!

Of course, our little OCD child had to stop and fix the egg that was busted open...

She took our strategy of "run ahead of the other kids" very literally...

She got a lot of great eggs and surprises and had a blast!
