The Jones Wedding

For our next event on Saturday, we hurried home, changed clothes, and went to Lionel and Phyllis Jones's wedding at The Church at Liberty Square.  Saunders's family has known Lionel for many years ... he worked at the hospital with Doc, he lived in the Jones's basement for a while many years ago, and Saunders took Shinkendo (swordfighting) from Lionel when we first moved back to Cartersville.  Saunders's parents were both in the wedding ... VJ was a bridesmaid, and Doc was best man.  They both looked very, very nice in their spiffy clothes, and the wedding ceremony was very touching - lots of great music!

Jumping the broom!

We didn't get to stay long at the reception - just dropped off our gift and left before the bride and groom arrived because we had to rush home and change again for our third event of the night - our reunion!

Great pictures! Love the hair VJ! Both best man and bridesmaid look fabulous, especially the gray gloves on Doc.
