Today was a rainy, gray day... the perfect day for wearing wellies! (That's what our friends in Jolly Old England call rain boots.) Katie Anne got these yellow striped wellies from Doc and VJ for Christmas, and they definitely brightened up the gloomy day. She got a lot of compliments on them when we met Gigi and Granddad for breakfast and when we were shopping in Target. She loves them!

So cute!!! Up here in Canada they apparently call them "gum boots". We always just called them plain old "rain boots" or "guloshes" when I was a kid! Actually, I think my Grandfather used to call them "rubbers". Gotta love how there are so any names for them. (Sorry, I didn't mean to ramble...heehee!!)
