The Bridal Tea

On Saturday, we had a busy day for the wedding party girls. In the morning, we went to the reception site and decorated. We worked hard, tying bows on chair covers, arranging centerpieces, and setting up the cake and candy buffet tables. The reception room looked amazing by the time we were through!

Then, we hustled back to the hotel to get ready for lunch. We had Jillian's bridal tea at The Chantilly Tea Room in Gastonia. I didn't get to make many pictures there because Katie Anne, Mom, and I weren't there for long- I had to eat and run because I was the first girl to get my hair done, and I had to be at the church by 12:30. We did have a good time at the bridal tea, and Jillian enjoyed getting to hang out with her cousins who'd just arrived from Clemson. We had a tasty lunch of quiche, pasta salad, and fruit salad... Jillian's grandmother Sadie (the hostess of the event) was sweet to order Katie Anne a special lunch- cheese sandwich and Goldfish! She loved it and ate the entire cheese sandwich (minus the crust, of course). Here are a few pictures from the luncheon.

Me and Mom

KA couldn't stop drinking long enough for a picture... she knew she was on a deadline.

Katie Anne looks worried about something in this one... but she's still super-cute!

Mamaw and KA

Hate to eat and run, people, but Momma's got to get her hair done!
