On Saturday morning, my mom took Katie Anne and me to shop at the Calhoun Outlet Mall for some desperately-needed fall clothes. Thanks, Mom (aka Gigi)! I had to have some things to wear to Greg and Jillian's wedding weekend, and (luckily) all my post-baby clothes from last fall are too big.
I got a burgundy dress for the rehearsal dinner, a brown dress for the bridesmaids' luncheon, a little cute shirt to wear to the "Bachelor's Day Out" golfing excursion, some pants, and a trendy little black and white coat. Katie Anne got some really cute dress/legging combos and shirts. After shopping, we went to Chic-fil-A for lunch, where we ran into Vanessa, her parents, Lily, and Bear, who were doing the exact same shopping trip we'd just finished! The weather was incredible, Katie Anne was reasonably well-behaved for a 17-month old on a shopping trip, and Mom and I had fun hanging out together. We had a great time shopping and shopping!
Here's some pictures of Katie Anne looking for just the right outfit... it was so funny to watch her "shop" for clothes. She would do just like Gigi and me, pulling things out, looking at them, flipping through the clothes on the rack- very cute!
Katie Anne searches the store for that perfect fall look...
"I don't know, Gigi... I like it, and yet again, I don't."
"That's it, this is a big no."
