In the midst of all the Christmas excitement, little SJ turned four months old on Friday!
In honor of his four month "birthday", we busted out KA's old Exersaucer for him to try. He loved it! He spent about twenty minutes playing in it - spinning things around and chewing on everything.
At four months old, he's very close to rolling over (front to back and back to front). From his tummy time position, he pushes himself over to the side until he almost flips over, and then he gets this terrified look on his face and quickly flops back down on his belly! On his back, he curls up like a little rolly-polly bug and gets almost all the way over onto his belly ... he just can't quite figure out what to do with that arm that's in the way. It's like a little kickstand that keeps him from flipping over!
He and KA love to do his "tummy time" together. He's just getting to the phase where he enjoys playing on the floor on his belly instead of it feeling like some kind of daily punishment that Mommy makes him do! KA loves to sing to him, talk to him, and entertain him with his toys. Here are some pictures of them playing together this weekend.
Happy Tummy Time!
Sweet big sister loves to play with him!
He is getting so strong!
