The Rehearsal & Dinner at Rodi's

On Friday night, we headed to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church for the rehearsal. Since I was "Best Woman" at the wedding, I don't have any pictures of the actual rehearsal since I was up at the altar practicing! Here are the few pictures I got before we started...

The bride and groom!

Saunders and Katie Anne choose some songs out of the hymnal that they might perform later.

I'm just hanging out, waiting to get this show on the road.

Carlton and Trisha.

Janie, the wedding director, and Jillian in front of the gorgeous altar.

One of Jillian's bridesmaids, Chelsea, and her boyfriend Garrett.

After rehearsing, we headed to Rodi's at 245 West for the rehearsal dinner. We had a private room reserved for dinner, and it was just lovely in there... lots of candles, yummy appetizers, and lots of laughing. For dinner, we had a choice of roast beef (which Saunders and I got) or chicken (which KA got). We sat at a table with Carlton, Trisha, Chelsea, and Garrett. Katie Anne loved the fountain in the middle of the room, and there was a disco ball shining from the party room above us that sparkled light down on the floor, so that just amazed her. She ran around and chatted with everyone. She was a little crazy, but she was in a great mood and made it until almost nine, so we were thankful for that! Greg and Jillian presented the wedding party with their gifts... I got a cool monogrammed cup and a gift certificate to Greenleaf Day Spa. Saunders got a silver monogrammed coffee mug and a UGA hat.

I love the pictures! We had the most fun and enjoyed every minute. I think Carlton and Trisha should use the pic in the church for their Christmas card photo. Very cute of them but I don't know why you had to call us your BIG family. :-)
