My Family Birthday Dinner!

This weekend was a busy one for us - not only was it Father's Day, but it was also the weekend before my birthday. On Saturday, my family went out to dinner to celebrate! We went to the Adairsville Inn, which no one but Saunders, Katie Anne, and I had tried. Everyone loved it! It is very much a comfort food buffet, and it was really delicious on Saturday ... fried chicken, roast beef, macaroni and cheese, creamed corn, sweet potatoes, green beans, black eyed peas, cobbler, yeast rolls, and much more. We had a great time eating dinner together!

Afterwards, we went back to my parents' house for dessert and presents. Instead of birthday cake, I wanted my mom to make banana pudding, which was fabulous - I ate my serving and Katie Anne's! They also got me a cute giant cupcake for blowing out my candles with, and Saunders and Katie Anne ate that for me since I'd much rather have extra banana pudding instead! I got great gifts - a new halter dress, cute wedge shoes, and two new beads for my bracelet (a pearl for June and a cupcake for my birthday) from my parents, and a Sterlite box for organizing my sewing stuff in the new craft/playroom that had extra pins, bobbins, and two cute fabrics inside with trims to match from Greg and Jillian.

It was a great night of celebrating my big #28 coming up! Here's a Smilebox of pictures from the party.

Happy Early Birthday! I think our next girls night needs to be the Adairsville Inn - that sounds so yummy!

That was fun and you look beautiful in the new dress. I can't believe it has been 28 years! Maybe we should have moved the cardboard box play house before we started taking the pictures! haha

Sounds like a great time! All the gifts are wonderful. I especially LOVE the blue halter dress--I think blue should be your color!
