CFBC Ladies' Dinner

Last night, I got the chance to attend the Cartersville First Baptist Church's annual ladies dinner to benefit the Women's Resource Center here in town.  The ladies of CFBC host the event, and the men of the church serve the food.  Vanessa was one of the hostesses, which meant she decorated a table, invited friends to eat with her, and took care of us all night - serving us tea, coffee, and making sure we had everything we needed!  She was a wonderful hostess and did a fabulous job decorating her table - I think it was one of the best ones there.  We had such a great time chatting, eating, and enjoying the funny guest speaker Joy Earle, all while supporting a good cause.  I even won a door prize - a hair cut at Hair Cottage!  It was a great ladies' night out, and I hope we make it an annual event!

Vanessa's centerpiece - so pretty!

She had the table all decorated in red and gold, with holiday china and big gold chargers under the plates.  She also gave each of us a sparkly, gold Christmas star ornament for our tree!

The ladies of Vanessa's table - Paren, Jessica, Vanessa, Katie, and Natalie ... and minus Amanda, who had to leave early to take care of her sick baby girl
