Toddler Toast Sampler

A weekend breakfast conversation...

"What do you want for breakfast, Katie Anne?"
"Hmmm... toast!"
"What do you want on your toast?"
"Hmmm... cheese?"
"Okay, cheese it is."
"Peanut buttah?"
"Oh, alright, you want both?"
"Yeah... and jey-wee."
"And jelly?"
"Yeah... and toast."
"What, just plain buttered toast?"
"Yeah, want both."

That is hilarious! When did you start giving her peanut butter? My pediatrician said the new recommendation is 3 years old!!! I don't think I'm waiting that long, but just curious.

What a happy toddler breakfast on a happy yellow plate. I want a happy yellow plate to eat my morning granola bar off of!

I dipped Katie Anne's pacifier in a little peanut butter when she was four months old. :0 I wanted her to try to keep it in her mouth for more than 2 seconds during a car trip- she was such a bad traveler. She's been eating it ever since. She had honey at about six months, too. I'm a rebel. ;)

How cute is this kid? The middle picture with the sun on her face is adorable. What eyelashes!
