Today, while looking for a toddler backpack for school this fall, Katie Anne and I stumbled across the cutest, tiniest, pinkest, girliest tee ball set we'd ever seen - and we've been looking for them for a few weeks. It came with a pink bat, a black/white/pink tee, and a pink and white ball. And, did I mention that it was not only cute, tiny, pink, and girly, but also cheap - only $10 for the whole thing?!? Of course, the "baseball game" as KA described it, went right into our buggy, along with the $5 tiny pink backpack (great buy) and the $99 replacement in-the-car DVD player (okay buy) that we had to buy after ours went kaput yesterday.
After naptime, Katie Anne and I headed into the backyard for a little batting lesson - which I should NOT be teaching because I am
HORRIBLE at baseball. But, I did my best... and I'm sure this toy will quickly become a daddy-daughter favorite. Regardless of her low-quality teacher, she did make some sweet hits! Here are some pictures of her swing!
She approaches the ball...
The backswing...
She makes contact!
And off goes the ball into the wild blue yonder!

I like it that her outfit matches the "baseball game". Saunders may be the best baseball teacher but you will have her looking great while playing! A perfect team!
