On Friday night, we had a block party for Marvin's 80th Birthday! You may remember Marvin from a previous post about Katie Anne... she loves Marvin and his wife Jenny! They live behind us, and across the street from my parents, so I've been Marvin and Jenny's neighbor for about 18 years! Marvin was turning the big 8-0 this month, so the families on my parents' street organized a potluck dinner to celebrate, complete with hamburgers, hot dogs, lots of traditional sides like baked beans and potato salad, and homemade cake and icecream for dessert! It was really fun, and we had a great time.

Love the pictures! Especially the one of you and Sarah. It's hard to believe that you started babysitting her when she was 6 weeks old. Time flies! I can't wait till the next block party!
